The demand for accessible, beginner-friendly tech education continues to grow. While platforms like Coursera and Udemy offer extensive course libraries, many first-time learners struggle with information overload, inconsistent learning paths, and maintaining motivation.
TechUnlock was created to bridge this gap, a beginner-focused EdTech platform that simplifies the learning journey through clear course structures, visual progress indicators, and gamification elements. The platform supports both learners and provides admins and educators with tools to manage courses, track engagement, and measure performance.
Two clear challenges emerged:
Learners frequently abandoned courses early because they couldn't effectively track their progress or stay motivated.
Admins lacked efficient tools to create and manage courses at scale, making it difficult to monitor learner performance.
The project goal was to design a dual-sided platform: one side intuitive and motivating for learners, the other structured and data-driven for admins.
